Predominance of Electrolysis + Ultrasonic Cleaning

Is cleaning using only ultrasonic waves enough?

Many companies use ultrasonic machines to clean molds. However, since we started developing mold cleaning machines, we have consistently recommended users to use both electrolysis and ultrasonic cleaning, regardless of the higher development and manufacture costs. This is because we are sure “our train of thought will lead to profits for our customers.” See the reasons below.

Tough dirt that is not completely be removed in 60 minutes of ultrasonic cleaning can be cleanly removed by electrolysis and ultrasonic cleaning using a special mold cleaning solution developed by us.

Water repellency caused by organic accretion

The clean metal surface is not water repellent. Cleaning using ultrasonic waves only leaves impurities that repel water. If electrolysis, ultrasonic waves and the special mold cleaning solution developed by us are used, dirt including soils invisible to the naked eye will be completely removed. Thus, the removal of invisible dirt by electrolysis can prevent mold corrosion and damage caused by residual corrosive substances in the gaps between metals and extend mold lifespans.

For precision mold cleaning, care has to be taken not to damage the mold in addition to dirt removal. If ultrasonic waves only are used to clean molds with precision patterns, impact waves generated by ultrasonic waves could damage the patterns. A combination of electrolysis and ultrasonic waves using special mold cleaning solution developed by us can clean such molds without damaging them.
